Natural warmth meets contemporary design

For a private residence in Belgium, TKartel Interieur created bespoke furniture and interior solutions with a strong focus on natural materiality and clean, contemporary forms.

The new C221 Chêne Catalan decor with the Origin finish was combined with Vert des Pinèdes. The warm oak appearance and understated green tone create a harmonious contrast and give the interior a distinctive character.

The project demonstrates how Polyrey decorative surfaces can be used in bespoke furniture design to combine refined aesthetics with practical performance for everyday living.

Naturalness that you can see and feel

"Wood veneer was originally intended for our pilot project. With Origin, we were able to offer an HPL surface which, thanks to its natural oak finish, matt surface and tangible depth, comes very close to real wood. The interplay between appearance and feel is particularly impressive; even on larger surfaces, the material has a calm, authentic and high-quality look and feel. At the heart of the project is Polyrey HPL® in C221 Chêne Catalan with the Origin finish. Its natural oak appearance is enhanced by a matt, tactile texture, creating a convincing interplay between visual character and touch.

Origin offers an alternative to real wood veneer for applications where an authentic wood aesthetic needs to be combined with the practical properties of an HPL surface. Even across larger areas, the finish maintains a calm and consistent appearance.

Chêne Catalan is complemented by V115 Vert des Pinèdes. The muted green tone introduces a contemporary accent and creates a balanced colour and material concept together with the warm wood decor.
